To higher meet the wants of communities who rely on our Barrie location, the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre can be present process renovations to its 91 Patterson Rd. location.
It is a step to strengthen and develop the animal welfare applications and group help providers offered by the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre.
The Barrie Animal Centre can be briefly closed to the general public, beginning Sept. 12, for about six weeks. Our group help providers will proceed all through the renovations.
The well being and well-being of the animals in our care is our high precedence. All animals in our care can be relocated to foster houses and Ontario SPCA animal centres in neighbouring communities whereas the renovations are ongoing.
The Ontario SPCA will proceed to meet our Metropolis of Barrie municipal pound contract. Stray animals delivered to the animal centre can be housed in a brief facility on the 91 Patterson Rd. location. Stray animals that require an extended stick with us can be transferred to neighbouring Ontario SPCA animal centres and returned to the Barrie facility when needed.
