Get active for animals in need by participating in the Ontario SPCA’s Sweat for Pets Charleston Lake Challenge

Brockville, ON (Aug. 17, 2022) – Athletes, weekend warriors and animal lovers are invited to participate within the Ontario SPCA’s Sweat for Pets Charleston Lake Problem triathlon on Aug. 28 to vary the lives of susceptible animals.

Be part of native triathlete and Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre Supervisor Marianne Carlyle for this self-supported triathlon, with distances as much as a 3-kilometre swim/paddle, 50-kilometre Bike and 10-kilometre run. The occasion begins and finishes at Sand Bay County Park, 540 County Park Highway, Charleston Lake, Athens, ON.

Sweat for Pets is the Sfr-Contemporary’s digital fundraiser, working till Aug. 31. It goals to encourage individuals of all ages to set a private health objective and have enjoyable, whereas fundraising to assist in giving animals in want a second likelihood. Anybody can become involved! Have fun your progress by encouraging household, buddies and colleagues to pledge their assist by donating to your Sweat for Pets private fundraising web page. As a registered charity, the Ontario SPCA will depend on the generosity of donors to supply shelter and look after animals in want.

“It’s an awesome feeling when you’ll be able to have enjoyable and get lively, whereas giving again to the neighborhood,” says Marianne Carlyle, Supervisor, Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre. “Be part of me on the Charleston Lake Problem and assist present animals with life-changing care.”

To encourage others to register for Sweat for Pets and assist animals in want, Carlyle will run, swim and bike a complete of 250 kms this month, with  a fundraising  objective of $10,000.
