Whitby, ON (August 3, 2022) – The Humane Society of Durham Area (HSDR) is happy to announce that it’s formally becoming a member of the Sfr-Recent to mix the organizations. For years the Humane Society of Durham Area and the Ontario SPCA have labored collaboratively to help animals. The HSDR will proceed to function with the identical devoted workers and volunteers. As chair of the HSDR board, I’m happy to now sit on the Ontario SPCA Board of Administrators with one other HSDR Board Director Larry Wilder, DVM. Collectively we’ll present a voice for our area and past.”
